Fasting!

                      We will be doing a Q&A on fasting!


    Fasting has been around for a long time. It's so many different things that can be gained from fasting. Fasting is very important to human life.  I love it because of the way it makes me feel. So today I will review some of your questions for me. I will be going over at least 9 questions in all. So let's do it!





Questions & Answers:


Q1) How long should you intermittently fast?

    A) For me you should be fasting between 14 and 18 hours. Stop eating at 12am and don't eat no until 4pm that next evening. I usually do mines for 16 hours for now. If you can go for longer go with it. Start slow and steady.

Q2) What is intermittent fasting?

    A) You stop eating and drinking for a period of time. The metabolic state is achieved after complete digestion and absorption of a meal. No food or caloric beverages.

Q3) Can intermittent fasting help you spiritually?

    A) Yes, you become closer to God. ( Source) With meditation and prayer daily. (Psalm 69:20)

Q4) What not to eat after intermittent fasting?

     A) No high in fat foods. ( Cake, burgers, fast food) This will cause poor digestion leading to bloating and discomfort.

Q5) Foods to break your fast with in a healthy way?

    A) Good food is Diluted apple cider vinegar, spinach, eggs, cooked cauliflower, watermelon, banana, and fermented food. ( Unsweetened yogurt) 

Q6) How to control my hunger while intermittent fasting?

    A) Meditation, eating high protein foods, high fats, drinking spring water.

Q7) Best fruit for breaking intermittent fasting?

    A) Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, apples, key limes.

Q8) What water can I drink during my intermittent fasting?

    A) Spring water, black coffee, lemon water, sparkling water.

Q9) What are the benefits of intermittent fasting?

    A) Weight loss, burn fat, stops type 2 diabetes and other overweight-related conditions. A better way of life within meditation.
